Hannah & Joe’s BlueBridge Event Center Wedding in Traverse City
Oh my gosh — where do I even start with these two? From the moment I met Hannah and Joe, I knew their wedding day would be special. Not just beautiful, but full of meaning, intention, and so much joy. Their family and friends brought the kind of energy that fills a room, and it made the entire day unforgettable.
Every detail of their wedding felt thoughtful. From the florals and bridal details to their heartfelt Catholic ceremony and lively reception at BlueBridge Event Center, nothing went unnoticed. Hannah and Joe planned a day that reflected who they are and what they value most: faith, family, and celebrating fully with the people they love.
A Catholic Ceremony at St. Joseph’s on Old Mission Peninsula
Hannah and Joe exchanged vows at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Old Mission Peninsula, a historic and incredibly meaningful ceremony space near Traverse City. I’ve photographed weddings here multiple times now, and each ceremony feels just as special as the last.
The architecture, stained glass, and sense of tradition created a beautiful setting for their vows. Surrounded by family and friends, their ceremony was emotional, reverent, and full of joy — the kind of moment that reminds me why I love photographing Catholic weddings so much.
Celebrating at BlueBridge Event Center
After their ceremony, we made a celebratory stop at Bonobo Winery before heading to BlueBridge Event Center for the reception. BlueBridge is one of those venues that truly knows how to host a wedding day well. The space feels welcoming, elegant, and designed for real connection.
From the moment guests arrived, the energy was incredible. The reception flowed effortlessly, and once the dancing started, the floor never emptied. Parents, grandparents, friends — everyone joined in. It was one of those nights where you look around and realize no one wants it to end.
Honestly, it was hard to leave because we were all having such a good time.
A Day Filled with Real Connection
One of my favorite things about being a wedding photographer is witnessing genuine love, and Hannah and Joe have that in the truest sense. Their connection is joyful, easy, and deeply rooted. Every interaction between them felt natural and full of warmth, and it made documenting their day an absolute honor.
Hannah and Joe, thank you for trusting me with such meaningful moments. I feel incredibly lucky to have been part of your wedding day and to have met your wonderful family and friends.
