I was so excited for Lauren and PJ’s wedding day at Indianwood Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan. I had the joy of photographing their engagement session at Pierce Stocking Scenic Drive (Stops 9 & 10), and from the moment I saw them, I knew their wedding would be just as incredible. Lauren wore the most stunning pink flowy dress for their engagement photos — she and PJ were up for anything I suggested, making it such a fun and memorable session.

Getting to know Lauren and PJ was such a highlight for me. If Lauren looks familiar, you may recognize her from 9&10 News! She’s since moved on to a different news station, but it was so special to capture both her engagement photos and, later, her wedding day.

Their venue, Indianwood Country Club, completely blew me away. It had this grand, old-world elegance — think royal, castle-like vibes — with a timeless charm that felt straight out of a storybook. I loved incorporating classic flash photography throughout the day, which perfectly complemented the venue’s aesthetic.

Lauren chose the most beautiful color palette for her bridal party, creating an elegant yet fun atmosphere that reflected both her style and their love story. This wedding was the perfect mix of timeless, joyful, and refined — and I feel so lucky I got to be part of it.
